Description

Help support Aberdeen's local athletics community by volunteering as an official for indoor and outdoor track and field competitions. There are opportunities to specialise as a track or field judge, timekeeper or photo finish judge, starter or starters assistant or endurance official. We also have a need for administration duties, managing registrations and results.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Leadership/Management

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

While some work by officials requires no skill or just "on the job" training, for those who are interested and motivated, Aberdeen AAC will help provide training to earn UK Athletics Officials qualifications. AAAC will host officials' training courses at Aberdeen Sports Village in February and March 2017.
