Zero Waste Scotland Volunteer at Aberdeen Forward

We recruit and train volunteers from across the Nroth East who can then give waste prevention advice within their local communities

Location Training will be held in Aberdeen Forward, 2 Poyernook Road, Aberdeen, AB11 5RW Opportunities will be at various locations across the City and Shire

Are you interested in helping the environment then this opportunity could be right for you! Zero Waste Scotland Volunteers are trained during fun, practical and informative training sessions on how to deliver information on the four Zero Waste Scotland campaigns:

Love Food Hate Waste
Recycle for Scotland
Stop the Drop
Home Composting

After training volunteers are encouraged to promote the waste prevention messages within their community by attending events, delivering talks and workshops and doing home visits to neighbours' compost bins. Volunteering is flexible and you can choose the amount of time you are able to commit to the project.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:
