Description

This is an opportunity to support victims which can range from somebody phoning to get information on the criminal justice system, which can be answered over the phone or it can be years of supporting individuals who have gone through something more traumatic. The majority of cases invovle thefts, housebreakings and assualts, although VS has helped victims of many other crimes including sexual assualt and domestic abuse.
People react to crime in different ways and VS Aberdeeen is there to provide ongoing emotional support in the aftermath of a crime right through to helping people when they go to court.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

If accepted for this role you will go through a 3 day Foundation Training course initially, with ongoing training and support thereafter.
