Description

A Museum Guide Volunteer offers a personal touch to the visitor experience of the Museum. They provide an enthusiastic insight to the items on display and the personalities depicted in the galleries

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Interpersonal/Confidence
  • Teamwork
  • Problem solving/Creativity
  • Analytical/Research

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

All volunteers receive an induction and notes to help them on their way, as well the chance to shadow other volunteers in their area until the time feels right to go ‘solo’.
You will also be part of a team so 'on the job' training is always available
