Hours per week 1 hour
Location Royal Voluntary Service is located in the Foresterhill Lea building (2nd floor), Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, AB25 2ZY. This role includes going to the homes of older people to talk with them. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Description

Do you have a friendly personality? Would you like to make a positive difference to your local community by helping older people? Volunteering with Royal Voluntary Service might just be the thing for you! The key task of this opportunity is to visit older people in their homes and to chat with them, take a walk or to read with them in order to help them maintain independence and get more out of life and to avoid feelings of isolation.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

Training relevant to the role will be provided. RVS also provides support for volunteers.


This role is subject to a PVG check.
